TASCAM Portastudio 414 4-Track Cassette Recorder - Serviced

This vintage TASCAM 414 recorder has been serviced and brought back to mint condition. It looks and functions like new.

The following service has been done on this machine:

- 3 new rubber belts replaced

- Tape head cleaned and demagnetized

- Rubber Renue applied to the rubber pinch roller

- All the sliders and knobs have been cleaned with deoxit to minimize scratchyness

- all the RCA jacks have been re-soldered because it is a known issue that these get loose and create a poor connection in these device devices

- the power jack has also because of a cold. A jumper cable was also added in case this happens again in the future, it will not break the unit.

- it was completely disassembled and cleaned on the inside and out. All the plastic was cleaned with soap and water, and a plastic polish was applied to the outer shell.

- The unit has been tested. has been tested for every and all of the inputs and outputs have been tested and as expected.
