This boombox has been brought back to life and is ready for its next owner.
Old Magnavox boomboxes are notorious for having rubber gears that disintegrate. I ordered new gears and replaced them in this unit. Now it is working great again.
The rubber belts have also been changed and the playback speed has been calibrated.
This is a really simple no frills boombox with a radio and cassette player, one speaker, no headphone jack. It looks amazing on the shelf.
